Yesterday was our first snow of the year!

After I picked Adelynn up from school she was so excited to see the snow and wanted to play in it immediately. We went home and changed into warmer clothes and headed out for a walk in the snow. We walked down to Sam's house and the twins were outside playing so we joined them.

Today we decided to have a little adventure so we drove to the top of the plateau since they always get more snow than we do. We stopped in Monteagle for lunch and played at the park there. Adelynn slid down the hill on a trash bag until she was frozen. Then we drove to the farm in Coalmont to see Papa. SNOW much fun!

2010!

Starting the New Year with a new blog. This will be easier than Myspace I think. We celebrated New Year's eve with friends at Sam's house and New Year's day we joined Sam, the twins, Debi and Richard at Highland Yacht Club for a bonfire and lunch on the lake. Boy was it cold!

Adelynn walked straight out into the lake, thanks to her snow boots only her pants got wet.
