August means back to school!

Dancing the night away at Sweet Tooth Theater. We all had so much fun getting dresses up and going out with friends. Thanks Jen and Mark for an awesome night!

Follow the yellow brick road...

So I finally got to share the joy that is The Wizard of Oz with Adelynn. When I was pregnant with her I collected these Madam Alexander dolls from McDonalds. I'd been planning this night for more than 5 years.

I finally bought the movie on DVD the other day. I made popcorn, hid all the dolls under the couch and told her I had a surprise. I made 'movie tickets' for all 4 of us and had them all li...ne up at the baby gate. As they passed through I hole punched their ticket. Adelynn just got the biggest kick out of that!

So we sat down and started watching the movie. As each character made their entrance into the movie, I pulled that doll out from under the couch and presented them to Adelynn. She LOVED it!

Totally worth waiting 5+ years.

Another baby in the family!

We are happy to announce that Sylvie, Christophe's younger sister, has a baby boy on the way. He is due to arrive in December.

Adelynn has her first girly sleepover. Ava Rowe came and stayed with us. The girls did everything little girls do. They played in the sprinkler, played dress up, made 'crazy hair' in a bubble bath, tattled continuously (perfectly normal right?), watched Tangled and ate popcorn... and finally, finally at 10:.30pm they CRASHED.

April seems to be THE MONTH for birthdays in our circle of friends.

Puppy style! Adelynn had a doggone good time. Bounce house, doggy games, cotton candy, popcorn, a pinata, golf cart rides- we had to fight Adelynn when it was time to leave!

Picture day at school!

Yay for healthy smiles! Juliette visited the dentist for the first time and Adelynn is just an old pro now!

We decided to get away for a long weekend trip so we headed to Pigeon Forge. We stayed at a resort/ lodge that had a HUGE indoor water park called The Wilderness. The parks were open late, so we'd swim in the morning then go and site-see and come back and swim some more! The rates were reasonable and the water parks are free to guests.
